I prefer to air dry my hair or create natural waves by twisting it around as it dries as opposed blow drying or using the curling iron. However, my hair has been rather dry and dull lately despite NOT having had highlights in over 2 years, having had a haircut only a few weeks ago and keeping blow drying and straightening to a minimum. I don't know if it's the heat in my apartment, my shampoo(I'll get into that in another post) or what, but I've been trying out different remedies to get my hair healthy and naturally shiny without having to style it. Phyto's Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm is just what I've been searching for to achieve air dried healthy looking soft hair that's not out of control! I don't like keratin treatments for my hair because they are so greasy, and as much as I love Argan oil, I can only put it on my ends because of the grease factor which leaves the rest of my head neglected. Phyto's Relaxing Balm is a bit more nourishing than putting on an oil on the ends, and you can apply it all the way up to the middle of the hair shaft when wet or dry(I only put it on my wet hair). It leaves my hair smooth and nourished with such a nice shine and weightless quality. After using it for 2 weeks, I've noticed less split ends and stronger hair. In fact, I don't think there is a better product for air drying long hair! My hair is still a work in progress, but this is definitely a big step in the right direction.
